"King of My Heart"
For a time, several lines of the song, "King of My Heart" by John and Sarah McMillan kept coming to me. They are repeated in the song.
You're never gonna let
Never going to let me down.
It was comforting, because it speaks of the faithfulness of God.
The other words in the song contain imagery. "Be the mountain where I run." Sometimes Calvary is referred to as Calvary's mountain. Other imagery is "the fountain that I drink from, the shadow where I hide, the ransom for my life, the wind inside my sails, and the fire inside my veins."
You are good, good, oh."
When the night is holding onto me
God is holding on
When the night is holding onto me
God is holding on
Psalms 42:8 says, "Yet the Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me, and my prayer to the God of my life." The opening words to the song are "Let the King of My heart."
